CREMATION SERVICE ATTENDED

OUR PROFESSIONAL CHARGES

This includes taking instructions, making all necessary arrangements for the funeral. Obtaining and preparing
all statutory documents. Liaising with Crematorium and/or Cemetery, Doctors, Hospitals, Clergy and other
third parties. Handling all donations received use of our offices, mortuary and chapel of rest, preparation
and care of the deceased, attendance of Funeral Director on the day of the funeral. £990.00

Our standard Marlborough Coffin (oak veneered) £245.00

Removal of the deceased to our Chapel of Rest (within a 15mile radius) £330.00

Supplying the Hearse £320.00

One Limousine attending the funeral £175.00

TOTAL OF OUR FEES £2060.00

An £80 surcharge applies if limousines aren’t required. This is to cover the cost of transportation of our bearers.

Minister / Celebrant Fee (for service at Crematorium) starting from… £185.00
(The individual Church determines the cost for service in Church and we can advise
you of the cost if you decide to have a service in Church before the cremation)

Please note that we will require a deposit 3 working days before the funeral for the
full cost of the disbursements. A dated invoice will be sent to you or your appointed representative as soon as possible following the funeral. Payment must be made, in full, within 7 days of the accounting date.
If you become aware that there will be a delay in settling our account, a written notice or phone call should be received at
our office within the 7 day payment period explaining the situation in full and confirming the earliest possible settlement date.
Where an account remains unpaid after 21 days, we reserve the right to charge interest per calendar month
on the total outstanding amount.

For a new grave at an NWLDC cemetery (Hugglescote, Broom Leys or Whitwick) for a resident,
The purchase fee for the plot; £504.00

You will need to pay a removal/replacement fee for an existing grave with a memorial in place.
In addition, the cemetery may charge a number of other fees.

For an Attended or Unattended burial funeral, the interment fee *
In an NWLDC cemetery, the typical cost of the interment fee for a resident is: £454.00
* This fee (the interment fee) is the charge made for digging and closing a new grave
or reopening and closing an existing grave.

DIRECT FUNERAL

Direct Funeral is an unattended service with no mourner’s present

The provision of the services of the Funeral Director

Attending to all the necessary arrangements

Provision of the necessary staff

Provision of a coffin suitable for cremation or burial

Collection of the deceased from the place of death (up to 10 miles) in normal working hours

Care of the deceased prior to the funeral

Provision of a hearse direct to the nearest crematorium or cemetery
